Since the 1950, the unplanned urban development and economic growth in Colombia, has produced negative impacts on  the development of  rural and urban communities in the country, such as poverty, social conflicts, violence, land-uses incompatibility and  enviromental deterioration.  Growing up in this context pushed me to think about how contribute to improve its condition. In this way , I began to study architecture and urban plannig, hoping to promote a change in the patters of urbanisation and revitalise the rol and participation of communites in the urban plannig procesess.
